ABOUT THE PROJECT
Tyro recently moved their new merchant applications from a predominantly paper based system to a digital process in order to increase conversion, reduce errors and lower internal costs.
The new online application process needed to move a complicated, and predominantly manual paper process into a streamlined digital format allowing merchants to easily sign up for Tyro's EFTPOS and banking services. I worked as part of a talented team to conduct competitor analysis, gather business requirements, design, prototype and test application concepts ahead of implementation.
Once developed and launched I worked to understand customer feedback and changes to internal business processes to iterate the design and structure of the form, continually streamlining and improving the application process. I worked with testers and developers to ensure that the design was implemented correctly continually providing feedback and styleguiding changes for handover. I also worked with many other teams throughout Tyro looking at the extended onboarding flow from lead generation and marketing collateral through to the application itself and onto comms post approval.
